The “Training” both classwork and driver was a little faster than some could handle. If you do not have some skill to be a Driver you will not make it through the Driver training. I saw many a student fail to solo qualify and others sent home b4 getting that far. But if you are “MATURE” and ready with some skill you will make it.
There training was fast but good. I did see a lot of people (trainers)who wanted to get good drivers, but the management and corp. office sucks!!! There administration and recruiters don’t know how to handle business or be Honest to you.
The actual schooling to get your CDL was topnotch.Though some yard trainers had not a clue,most were okay.Administration and corporate are the biggest liars (other than Lawyers) I’ve ever seen.You could tell they were lying because their mouths were open.
They are crooks and should be shut down by the federal government. An absolutely absurd organization that are thieves. Their Lease Purchase plan is a joke.
cr england trucking school is a fuckin joke, all they want u to do is sighn for the 3000 dollors for the school then find a way to kick you out and u will still owe the money, i did there schooling to get dq for no fuckin reason, i took me 3 days of threats to sue them for them to still give me my cdl after i had passed all state test. now that they dq me im basicly black balled from getting a trucking job because i dont have the experience. DO NOT DO THERE SCHOOLING OR YOULL GET FUCKED
the program is the biggest scam i have ever seen, the salt lake location has good teachers and training but the school director and the financial group that works with them do whatever they can to get your money, I owe them money for the schooling but any time i try and get a otr job england tell em that my cdl is a fake and that i didnt complet the program, what a lie, i called the state and the state says i have a valid cdl. DONT DO IT
do yourself and for the sake of your family, a GIANT favor, don’t sign on. trust me, the whole experience equals some very severe depression. if you are desperate, only sign on as a company driver who plans to stick with it to get enough experience to land a REAL driving job. of course, you’ll have to drive about 3500 miles just to get 600 to 700 bucks. the lease program is the worse scam ever!!! I rarely saw my family and the compensation was not worth it. Mr. England as well as everyone working for England can suck an italian sausage. (except for drivers) This job is only recommended for single men or women, no kids, no family, no where else to go, and doesn’t mind living in a piece of crap truck. good luck
They aren’t unfair just to the drivers. They fire office personell for being gay. Their VP’s bully and harrass you and the Director of Human Rescources laughs about it. Since it is a “right to work” State there isn’t anything you can do about it either.
this company is a scam . you go to school to learn not to give your money away and they find ways to eleminate you .with a class of 125 and only 5 graduate somethings wrong . thanks cr england lesson learned.
England is a bunch of chronic liars who care nothing for their drivers, don’t start a career with these bums. Their nice ads are a lure, don’t take the bait!

money.And mean a LITTLE. I’m just waiting to get my year OTR,hope the economy gets better and get a better gig. CRE is a bunch of liars. They do
teach you,and I did learn,however 90% of their safety talk is bullshit once you
lease your truck,even in training not 1 (1 went thru 6,**)trainers followed
“company policy” = tire checks etc…its run run run. Their detntion pay is a joke. And their whole “were a family orientated company” is hog wash.

The school is a SCAM!!! DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!! They get you down to Cedar Hill Texas with a “free” bus trip, but quickly get their money back when you pay the $100.00 admission fee. Then you are STUCK there with no transportation. The hotel is a sty. It is also in a VERY bad area, so you do not want to walk anywhere; but the only restaurant in the hotel is VERY expensive and the food is gross!!! Rooms are over crowded and dirty. Over the phone the recruiters make you feel like you will have a job…but they really just intended to get you down there where they can wrangle you into signing a lease on one of their trucks…and once you are there they really pressure you!!! DO NOT SIGN A LEASE…GOOGLE CR ENGLAND SCAM / LEASE and just read all of the complaints. They have really hurt and bankrupt a lot of folks!!! THE SCHOOL IS A BIG CON JOB. The second day I was there, I saw a guy with his bags packed and I asked him why he was leaving. He said that he had completed the CDL program and was told that CR England would be sending a truck for him to be a second seat driver (HE DID NOT SIGN A TRUCK LEASE), but that after a week the truck never came for him. He said he had waited another week and called CR England over and over but they would not return his calls. Finally, after the third week of waiting, they told him that he was not even in their system and he needed to leave the hotel. He said this place is a total scam, get out while you can! I have heard that many who would not sign a lease, were just thrown out of the boarding stable onto the street in a very bad area with no place to go and no way to get back home. It has been reported that those who would NOT sign a lease were suddenly found to have a dirty drug test, often AFTER they had completed the course…four weeks later. However, the drug tests are done the first day and the results are available immediately; so CR England at least got their CDL TUITION and INTEREST out of them; but they really just wanted them to sign a lease.
