CDL Mills

So you found a place that will run you in the front door and out the back with a valid CDL License for a $1,000 dollars or less. This is good news right. Now you have saved yourself thousands of dollars and months of time that you may have wasted at a legit trucking school.

Now all you need to do is get a job. Good luck doing that with a CDL from a CDL mill. But maybe you had one lined up before you went so you are good to go. Right? Now all you need to do is make sure you don’t drive down any mountains or in any snow or bad weather. I can only imagine what it would be like to come down a mountain in a big truck with a CDL you got out of a cereal box. That would be the equivalent to one you got from a CDL mill.

If for some reason you didn’t have a job lined up you will probably find yourself paying for CDL training a second time anyway before anyone will take a new driver like yourself. Now you will have paid anyway plus the $1,000 you spent the first time. The problem with cutting corners when getting a CDL is it usually ends up costing more than money. Turn on the evening news and look for the rolled over big truck or the one that hit the school bus in the fog.

Cutting corners when it comes to CDL training cost people’s lives and usually hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages. If you should cause such an accident and survive you may be off to jail with criminal charges of neglect.  One way to avoid all that nonsense is to just do it right the first time and really learn how to drive a big truck properly.
